The food here was absolutely delicious. Pierogies were so cheesy and yummy, the tomato soup was so creamy and the zurek soup was salty, hearty, and delicious. The apple pie was probably the best I have ever had. Plus really beautifully plated, great atmosphere, and attentive service
From the friendly welcome, to those of us that are new to Polish cuisine, time was taken to explain every dish. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Then there is the food. Mind blowing - I haven't eaten this quality of food for the prices charged, well, I think ever! Cannot recommend highly enough. Tak! Martyn
Went to Nova with a friend — he had the duck, which I tried, and it was really nice. The gravy was spot on, rich and flavorful. He did mention he wished there was a bit more duck though, as the duck-to-mash ratio leaned heavily towards mash. I think they use the same gravy for the duck, the pancakes, and possibly most of the other dishes. Luckily, it’s a good gravy, but it does mean the flavors feel a bit similar across the menu. We shared the cheese and spinach pierogi — nice, but nothing mind-blowing. I had the two pancakes with meat, which were really tasty and incredibly filling. In fact, I couldn’t even finish my plate. Service was excellent — lots of good recommendations from a friendly server — and the place itself has a nice atmosphere. All in all, hearty Polish food done well, and a spot I’d happily return to.
This was my second time here and I’m definetely looking forward to come back, again as the first time everything was perfect, very delicious food, atmosfere is pretty nice also you feel quite welcomed and positive, people who work here are polite and friendly, so I would definetely recommened to everyone to come and check this place. Thank you for your service! Dzienkuje barzdo!!
The food was as good as the service—amazing! Wasnt able to take pictures of the mains but the presentation was as amazing as the taste! Second time coming here and will deffo come back again! Parking in the back as well so it was great as it was raining.
Really enjoyed my night here tonight. Cocktails were amazing and a great price in the offer. The staff and owner are all very friendly and the food was amazing. I like the Polish music and the interior is very pretty. There's a free car park too
We visited as a party of four adults for a birthday celebration. This was a first time visit and won't be the last. The menu is quite small but everything we ordered was lovely. Our choice of starters included whipped goats cheese with beetroot and honey, pierogi and chicken liver pate. For mains we chose Breaded chicken breast with garlic butter, Breaded Polish style pork loin, Ox cheek slow cooked in its own juices and Pan fried cod, topped with breadcrumbs with a lemon sauce All were very good but favourite were the Ox cheek and cod. Two desserts were chosen; brownie and ice-cream which were lovely. Cocktails were good value at 2 for £12 although being charged for a bottle of water for the table took us by surprise. The restaurant has a large car park at the rear which is a great bonus. All in all, good food, very reasonably priced and a great experience.
